Registration of an EEA or EFTA nationals for a period exceeding six months
Application for citizens from EEA/EFTA area for a confirmation of a right to stay in Iceland for longer than six months. Note that you have to go to Registers Iceland or the nearest police office and present passport and other mandatory documents, before the application can be processed.
Registration certificate will be sent by email.
Most cases are processed within a few days after all necessary documents have been submitted, but in some instances the processing may take longer.
